“The message was migrated without the attachments. This error might be due to configuration limitations on the server.”
Error details: Maximum request length exceeded.
The reason for this error is the defined size limit for migration. The maximum size of files that can migrate error free in ASP.NET should be 4MB. If the NSF file exceeds this default limit, certain changes and editions should be carried out to complete the migration process without any error.
You can resolve this error by increasing the input stream buffering threshold value while migration process. Follow these steps to complete the process:
- Open Notepad
- Open the Web.config file that is present under drive:\%PROGRAMFILES%\Microsoft\Exchange Server\ClientAccess\exchweb\ews directory
- In the Web.config file, after tag add
- Adjust the execution Timeout attribute accordingly
- Save the Web.config file and close it
- Launch www service again
